Welcome to the First Annual 'Do the Q/Full Monty' Contest!

Most of my furrends have heard of me doing the Monty Q and the Full Monty, and now it's your turn! Can stretch your back legs and do the Q? How about showing off some furmimin and try a Full Monty? You can? Great! Take a picture and share it here!

Examples:

The 'Monty Q':
Back legs extended, tail placement optional.

The 'Full Monty':
Needs no explanation. ;)

Categories:

• Best Monty Q and Full Monty
  
• Viewer's Choice
  
• Best Interpretation on a Theme
• Have you done a Q With a Twist? Or a Half-Monty?
  

Prizes:

• Best Monty Q and Full Monty will each receive a handcrafted fleece kittybed.
• Viewer's Choice will receive a remote control mousie.
  
• Best Interpretation on a Theme will receive a kitty themed photobook and papers.

Rules:

• There aren't too many!
  
• The contest is open to all kitties who blog.
• (Well, really we'll allow some other bloggin' animals, if there's a Bunny Q then let's see it!)
  
• One official picture for pose per kitty/animal, and please title each one!
  
• To quote Skeezix: "It's my contest, so I can change the rules anytime I want."
• Please submit all pictures by August 17th!!!

D'oh-I didn't think of something when I typed up 'da rules'. It's one kitty pic per pose, but you can enter both poses. And if you're a multi-cat household each kitty can enter both times too. (I fink I just confused myself...)

Example:

Donny and Marie and Casey all live together, so each of them can submit two pictures each: one Full Monty and one Monty Q. (If they do each pose.)

How To Enter:

• Take a picture of yourself in one of the two poses and post it here.

Finally I figured out the Full Monty...

I have never done a Full Monty before - at least until August 12th.
While snoozing on the couch,
I rolled on to my back with my feet up.
~~~~~
I didn't know what a big deal it was
until my FL was exclaiming "Full Monty" repeatedly
and flashing the flashy box.
There you go...I now have my entry!!! (P.S. I haven't done it again so far...)

Here are Puddy's entries, she's tried really hard!

First up is the Monty Q. It's a variation on the Monty Q - she decided to do a "curly" one and I think it looks rather artistic, don't you? Even her tail is curled!


And here is her favourite out of the two - her Full Monty pose! Very elegant, I do believe! Teehee, she was watching television at the time I snapped this and she didn't look too impressed, but when I informed her it was for a competition, she was all for it!

Hi, I'm Gretchen from Gretchen's Paw Prattle and I've been trying for weeks to get this right. I finally figured out I'm just meant to be a side creature. It was a lot of fun posing for my bean. She tried awfully hard to get a shot of me in the true Monty pose, and I've learned a new word called "Roll-over."I enjoyed playing along with my bean, and we know we didn't get it right but it's fun playing the game. We've never entered a contest before either. There are already tons of great pictures posted.
